It’s Another Manic Monday!

Not much to report though I did get some writing and editing done this weekend. Not as much as I would have liked, but if you pop in over at SFC you’ll see the reason why!

I”ve also been interviewed by fellow Cobblestone Author Kris Eton! So if you get a minute, pop in and check it out!

I also came home on Friday to ARCS for NAILED! WOOT! It looks great! And I hit Barnes and Noble this weekend. The one in N. Richland Hills is selling out and moving to a location across the highway. I got some great deals (50% off a couple of new hardcovers I’ve been wanting), picked up Wicked Lovely (which has been on my to buy list) and Farenheit 451 for the boy and me to read this summer. I was looking for To Kill a Mockingbird but I couldn’t find it.

For all you Spike fans out there, the kid informed me that he’s going to be in a live action version of Dragonball Z next year!

So what’s new with you? How was your weekend? I’m on the home stretch and other than coming up with a guest blog idea, I’m buckling down this week.

PS. SQUEE!!!!!!

Rob Estes is set to star in the CW’s “90210,” while Katee Sackhoff has joined FX’s “Nip/Tuck” as recurring…On the upcoming sixth season of “Nip/Tuck,” Sackhoff (“Battlestar Galactica”) will play Dr. Theodora “Teddy” Lowe, a new doctor who challenges Sean (Dylan Walsh). She will appear in four episodes.

  1. My weekend was productive. I got a partial out the door then realized I should have read the website again. (They had instructions on how to format submissions. I so didn’t format like I was supposed to…GAH!)

But it sounds like you had a good weekend.

  2. I visited with my sister, watched a tearjerker movie, and then nursed my sick boy on Sunday.

I did get one page written at Starbucks on Saturday though.

  3. whoo hoo on NAILED – can’t wait to read it!

We have a wedding coming up in our family next month, so I went with daughter-in-law-2-be to pick up her gown. She and #1 Son ordered their flowers and wedding cake, bought him a suit, shirt, tie, shoes, etc…

And I oggled a day spa, wishing I could afford the $400 for one person (me) plus the extra $400 for her – lol. Damn, but that massage and the ultimate pedicure/manicure/body wrap stuff look good.

    Some day.
